Bella Machina, of te wel mooie auto. Het hier aangeboden exemplaar is nieuw geleverd in Italië en is al decennia lang in familiebezit. In de afgelopen 10 jaar is de auto volledig gerestaureerd en gereviseerd. Daarbij is kosten nog moeite gespaard en dat is duidelijk zichtbaar. Van de restauratie is een overzichtelijk logboek bijgehouden met facturen en foto's. De Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 is een iconische sportcoupé die deel uitmaakte van de Alfa Romeo 105/115-serie, geproduceerd van de jaren '60 tot de jaren '70. Dit model is vooral bekend om zijn combinatie van Italiaanse stijl, uitstekende rijprestaties en klassieke Alfa Romeo-techniek. De GTV 2000 (Gran Turismo Veloce) werd geïntroduceerd in 1971 als het topmodel van de GTV-reeks. De GTV 2000 was uitgerust met een 2.0-liter viercilinder twin-cam motor (vier kleppen per cilinder), die ongeveer 132 pk produceerde. Dit was de krachtigste motor in de GTV-reeks en zorgde voor uitstekende prestaties. De motor was gekoppeld aan een handgeschakelde 5-versnellingsbak. Dankzij de lichte constructie en krachtige motor kon de GTV 2000 accelereren van 0 naar 100 km/u in ongeveer 9 seconden, met een topsnelheid van rond de 200 km/u. De auto stond bekend om zijn levendige rijgedrag, sportieve wegligging en responsieve besturing. De Alfa GTV 2000 werd ontworpen door Bertone, een gerenommeerde Italiaanse carrosseriebouwer. Het ontwerp had strakke, elegante lijnen met een opvallende lage neus en een iets kortere, strakke achterkant. De GTV 2000 had een sportieve maar toch verfijnde uitstraling. De neus was herkenbaar aan de iconische Alfa Romeo "scudetto" grille met dubbele koplampen. Interieur: Het interieur was luxueus voor zijn tijd, met sportstoelen, een met hout afgewerkt dashboard, en een sportief drietalige stuurwiel. De eenvoud en elegantie van het interieur onderstreepte de focus op de rijervaring. Ophanging en handling: De GTV 2000 had een onafhankelijke ophanging aan de voorzijde en een starre as aan de achterzijde, met schroefveren rondom. De auto bood een uitstekend rijgedrag met precieze besturing, wat hem populair maakte bij autoliefhebbers en coureurs. Schijfremmen: Voor en achter had de GTV 2000 schijfremmen, wat een opvallend kenmerk was voor een sportcoupé in die tijd en bijdroeg aan zijn indrukwekkende remprestaties.
